❝Two years gives you enough time to grow, and to change, and to change your priorities, change where you live, change your hair, change what you believe in, change who you hang out with, what’s influencing you, what’s inspiring you. And in the process of all of those changes that happened in the last two years, my music changed.❞
I shake it off
@taylorswift13 Just tried reading a hotel shampoo bottle an arms length away from my face to check if I still need contacts-Turns out I do. Eventful night.
Taylor swift style board [pt. 2]
I think the color red is one that’s very bold and dangerous and adventurous and daring. In the context of my music, color red signifies deep emotion, crazy emotion, passion, affection, being in love with someone, jealousy, anger all those crazy feelings. Those feelings are all very like a hundred miles per hour. Zero to a hundred. I think that my life would definitely be the color red right now; if it had to be a color because it’s just bold.

There’s a general rule that I always go by, and it’s that you fall for who you fall for. Whatever small issue you get hung up on, whether it’s because they’re shorter than you, younger than you or they live far away - if you really are crazy about someone, none of that matters.
Anyone who thinks Taylor Swift isn’t good for the girl cause has to be crazy, because any woman who’s dominating the charts, the creative director of her own empire, and made whatever millions of dollars last year is only lifting us up. Killing it.
Left: day before Red was released. Right: summer before Album 5.
“This is a new year, a new beginning, and these things will change.”
THE ANATOMY OF A TAYLOR SWIFT SONG
I have lot of goals, and one of them is to know when to stop. I love the sound of applause but I don’t want to become addicted to it in order to feel whole. It’s the creative part of music-making that I could never live without.
